Charles Iner is a Boston-based lutenist, guitarist, educator, and basso continuo performer. He received an MM in Historical Performance at Boston University, where he was awarded a departmental award for outstanding excellence in 2020, and a BA in Music Performance from Benedictine College. Active as both an accompanist and solo performer, Charles made his solo concert debut in 2024 as a part of Pegasus Early Music’s Pegasus Rising series, and NYS Baroque’s Rising Artists concert series. Previous ensemble performances include concerts with Emmanuel Music, BOOM (Baroque Orchestra of Maine), Cappella Clausura, Convivium Musicum, as well as with his own ensemble, Il Contrapposto.
